HOW WAS IT?
THE BEGINNING OF THE JOURNEY
On our way to Sweden this time, we were warmly welcomed in Warsaw by our Polish partners, the Medicover Foundation. They organized an unforgettable tour for us with historian Alex Richie and a boat trip on the Vistula River.
GETTING ACQUAINTED
Once all the groups arrived in Sweden, we began to get to know the participants, psychologists, and organizers. Right away, the first activities and networking sessions took place.
EXPERIENCE EXCHANGE
A trip to the city of Uppsala, lunch at the botanical garden, an unexpected visit by a local choir, and a meeting with doctors at the military hospital
ART
The third day of the Repower project was all about connecting with art. We spent the entire day at the 'Artipelag' art museum, attended sessions of sound and art therapy, and concluded with a picturesque walk along the Baltic Sea coastline.
CULTURE
On this day, we visited the Viking Museum and the open-air ethnographic museum 'Skansen.' Afterward, we began somatic practices with electric surfing near the island.
STOCKHOLM AND IMPORTANT MEETINGS
A rainy walk in Stockholm and a meeting with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden, Tobias Billström, made it clear that the whole world supports us!
OFFICIAL MEETINGS
On the final day of the Repower project, two important meetings took place — with the Ambassador of Ukraine to Sweden, Andriy Plakhotniuk, and Sweden's Minister of Defense, Paul Johnson. Afterward, there was a festive dinner, many warm hugs, and heartfelt words of gratitude exchanged between everyone.
On the last day of our stay in Sweden, we dedicated our time to reflecting on our experiences.
During the psychological sessions, participants shared their feedback, feelings, and ideas for future projects. A memorable part of the program was the common dinner accompanied by Ukrainian and Swedish performers.
This day was filled with endless hugs and expressions of gratitude for a successful trip.
More than one month has passed since our return, and in our favorite chat with project participants important tips and successes of our Ukrainian heroes are exchanged every day!
